The coffee

How a flat white
gets made here

Resolute, roasted by Origin, is the house blend and has been for years. What changes is nothing. Same beans, same grind, same time on the shot, so the cup you get on a Tuesday morning is the cup you got last Saturday.

Four steps

Weighed,
timed, tasted

Every shot is weighed in and weighed out. If it runs fast or slow it goes in the bin and the barista starts again. That is not fussiness, it is the only way two people on two different days make the same drink.

Your dose, yield and timings drop in here once you tell us them. Clips are stock, to be swapped for footage of your bar.

    The pour

A flat white gets a tighter pour than a latte. Same espresso underneath, different milk to coffee ratio.

The beans

Resolute,
by Origin

Origin roast in Cornwall and have done since 2004. Resolute is their long-standing espresso blend, built to hold up under milk without losing sweetness, which is why it suits a shop pouring as many flat whites as we do.

Beans are on the shelf by the door if you want to take some home, ground to whatever you brew with.

Origin and Resolute are written up on the board behind the Witney counter, so those two are confirmed.
